Dave Lusby joined Meechan Rosenthal Karpilow, P.C. in Spring 2019. He joined our office to advocate for the rights of injured workers after five years as a civil defense litigator. He firmly believes insurance companies are in the business of improperly denying benefits to injured workers and now focuses his practice representing individuals who have been aggrieved by these companies. He is familiar with the tactics used by insurance carriers and uses this experience to negotiate strong settlements for his clients.

Mr. Lusby earned his undergraduate degree in History from UCLA and returned to UCLA School of Law for his Juris Doctorate. He externed for Justice Elizabeth Grimes of the California Court of Appeal in Los Angeles while in law school. He is licensed to practice law in all California Courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

He is a member of the Sonoma County Bar Association, the California Bar Association and the California Applicants' Attorneys Association.
